Susan is a life time lover and trainer of her own mixed breeds, Labrador Retrievers, Australian Cattle Dogs and a Border Collie. She is a certified Canine Behavior and Training Specialist and a graduate of Triple Crown Academy, an educational center for professional canine trainers. She was an active member and trainer of the North Carolina Search and Rescue Association for four years. Her Australian Cattle Dog, Ayla is a certified Tracking/Trailing dog by the North Carolina Police Dog Association. Ayla is now retired and Susan is busy training her new puppy Skye's Zinger.
Susan is a member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers and a certified
CPDT and is a Canine Good Citizen Evaluator.
Susan and Gail Hubbard are owners of A
Good Dogs Life in Asheville, offering classes for puppies,
basic manners, obedience competition and agility.
